What do you think of the plant extracts from skin care products?

Date of release:2019-06-13 Author: Click:

There is such a phenomenon: Some people who have begun to pay attention to the composition table, when they see plant extracts, a common rough conclusion is that "this XX plant extract is not useful, and too little is not effective." However, this simple linear thinking, which is to think of the composition analysis too simple performance, how can it be so conclusive? I thought I might have been poisoned by her book.
It can be said that plant extracts are the most misunderstood, blackened type of ingredients and are often "used" by bloggers. For example, when you want to blow a product, you will brag about the benefits of this plant. When you want to black a product, you have to say, "The efficacy of plant extracts has not been checked, and there is no effect in adding the amount, and it is deceptive." This kind of move and retreat can be a universal weapon.
It is true that plant extracts do exist when there is no effect, but not all plant extracts added to skin care products are ineffective.
The organism itself is a magical world, not only humans, but even ordinary plants have amazing structures and functions. Humans have used plants for skin care or to treat skin related diseases for thousands of years. Whether it is turmeric in India, a chestnut in Europe, or purslane in China, it is a familiar and useful plant for local people. In modern times, these plants have also become a source of inspiration for scientific research. For example, in the skin care industry, the inspiration for finding effective antioxidant ingredients, whitening ingredients, and anti-sensitive ingredients from plant extracts has always been the subject of research by raw material manufacturers and large cosmetics companies. I recall that when my former leader began his work more than a decade ago, he was sent to screen plants for what might be effective whitening ingredients, and it was said that nearly a thousand kinds of plant extracts were screened in the country. There are also several technical achievements and patents(although the final research results have not been applied to products until now).
Therefore, the integration of human long-term experience and modern scientific research will not be unable to select the verification of the effective components. So what are the really effective ingredients for skin? In fact, there are many, such as the familiar aloe, fruit acid, plant source resveratrol, and the earliest willow source salicylic acid and so on. This article is mainly from the industry's truth and inside, to talk about the plant extract this large class of ingredients.
In the cosmetics industry, there's a secret that no one else knows about.
To hide the technical secrets.
We know that the composition of plants is so complex, and the methods of separation and extraction are also varied. Eventually, what plant extracts are obtained and what is contained depends on the specific extraction process. However, raw material vendors do not need to tell others about the exact content of the extract, because there is no regulatory standard that requires you to calibrate the active ingredient in the plant extract. Therefore, the same plant extract may not be extracted from different parts of the plant(roots, stems, leaves, flowers, fruits, seeds)(of course, some components have a clear distinction between plant parts). And the active ingredients that may be extracted are also completely different. Therefore, some raw material companies use XX plant extracts to name their products for technical confidentiality. If competitors want to truly understand the real structure of the active ingredients in the plant, then let them slowly find it from the various components of the plant. So it can be said that in the cosmetics industry, formula confidentiality is not completely confidential because the composition list is to be publicized. However, the confidentiality of raw material technology information has some means to a certain extent can play a confidential role.
In addition, based on this method, some raw material vendors can also walk some games that wipe the ball. Some powerful multinational cosmetics companies may buy out a raw material company exclusively. But sometimes, these new materials, which have been developed at a high price, are not sold to a cosmetics manufacturer. Therefore, raw materials manufacturers may think of various reasons or methods to sell raw materials to other cosmetics companies. The way the plant extracts, is a good way. For example, when this ingredient happens to be derived from plants, the exclusive buyer is a component of a specific chemical name extracted from the plant, but the raw material trader can change the product name to "XXX extract." Or add a bit of other raw materials so that they can be combined into another raw material and can be sold to other homes, and vice versa.
Many useful and relatively new cosmetic ingredients are also extracted from plants or inspired by plants. For example, CL302, Clinique White products are in use, the product name is NivitolTM, and the INCI name is, that is, the composition table shows[Dimethoxytolyl Propylresorcinol(dimethoxymethylphenyl-4-propyl diphenols]. This is a component extracted from the plant Shanlan. And it is the patent whitening component of Estee Lauder's buyout. For example, if the regulations allow, the raw material company produced a raw material called the extract of Shanganlan.
Why do some constituents kill plant extracts with a stick? The following are possible reasons:
Plants are so charming that cosmetics companies like to use plant extracts to promote their products and make consumers think better of their products. For example, aloe gum, cucumber will remind you of moisturizing. However, in fact, the amount of addition in the formula may be very small, and 0.01 % is the usual addition of soy sauce. However, national laws and regulations can be marked on the composition list as long as you add it to the formula. So it's a really good, really affordable thing to do. Hualili's ingredient list is also really good, and it can also promote plant extracts. However, such a small amount of addition is indeed ineffective. So this approach has attracted resistance from some constituent parties.
However, although the addition of plant extracts with very low levels of added content is not effective, there is no problem with this argument. But to tell the truth, such a stick will kill the plant extract, you so vowed to add a small amount, you developed the product recipe?
In fact, there are still many brands of products that add more active products. So, how to determine whether the plant additives in the product are really as useful as they claim, we can have a series of methods to help judge, and this will be revealed later in our article.
Plant extracts, which are either used by humans to black products, or to praise products, or to cover up and put smoke bombs, are really the most used types of ingredients.
